Join the County Library in celebrating the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States all year long!.
Each week, we will highlight a different state or territory through items in our collection, and we invite you to check out a material focusing on a new state each week. Can you complete all 52 weeks?
Pick up a challenge sheet at the County Library, and return to the County Library to redeem prizes for every 10, 25, and 50 locations you complete!

Fans of Pokemon, Magic the Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and more are invited to a trading card meetup to talk strategy, show off collections, play matches, and swap cards. Trading Card Meet-Up happens one Tuesday each month, starting at 4:30 PM. See the schedule below for specific dates. This program is intended for kids ages 5-12 but open to anyone under the age of 18.

LEGO Club at the Shenandoah County Library is held on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month at 4:30 PM. There is no registration needed all materials are provided. We recommend this program for brick builders ages 5+ (but any kids old enough to not eat the LEGOs are welcome!)
Visit the Basye-Orkney Springs Community Library on the first and third Tuesday of every month for Quiet Reads: A Bring Your Own Book Club!
This one is for the grown ups. No pressure, no homework, just read what YOU want! Bring your own book and join us for an hour of quiet reading and an hour of socializing and relaxed discussion!
