Earth Day Story Time: New Market
On Friday, April 21, the preschool storytime at 10 am at the New Market Area Library will focus on Earth Day/Arbor Day. Children will listen to books being read about the earth and trees, sing songs, do a craft, and if the weather permits, walk around the rain gardens on library grounds that were created and maintained by the Master Gardeners of the Northern Shenandoah Valley. The Master Gardeners will be assisting with the program.
New Market Author Talk
Join us at the New Market Area Library on Sunday, April 2 at 2:00 pm as we host Dr. Bruce Greyson, author of "After: A Doctor Explores What Near-Death Experiences Reveal about Life and Beyond." Learn what Dr. Greyson's research has to tell us about understanding consciousness, our own purpose for living, and what it means to be human. This program is free, and no registration is required.
