June 27 at 4:30 PM. Enjoy a screening of the funny new "Lego Movie 2" with the option to build along with our Legos as you watch the film. We'll also have snacks and a raffle prize at the end. There is no registration for this program but seating is limited.

July 1 at 10:30 AM. Ms. Erica is taking story time on tour! She's bringing the library to Woodstock for this special story time event. Join her at the small covered pavilion in W.O. July 9 at 11:00 AM. "World at Night" with the Blue Ridge Wildlife Center. An entire world comes to life after you go to sleep. Find out what special adaptations many of our area's nocturnal animals possess to successfully navigate life in the dark. Meet some of the nocturnal creatures in person!

July 16 at 11:00 AM. "Aliens: Escape from Earth" with the ScienceTellers! Don't miss this action-packed and educational alien adventure using science experiments for special effects. It's totally out of this world!

July 17 at 2:00 PM at the County Library. The ScienceTellers are back again this year with a fun new program, "Aliens: Escape from Earth!" We'll hear a tale about helping lost aliens get back to their rocket ship and see amazing science in action. No registration necessary but seating is limited.

July 18 at 10:00 AM. "The Frontier Culture Museum Brings the Show to the Library!" New Market Summer Reading programs are for ages birth to fifth grade.

July 23 at 11:00 AM. Finish off the summer with the ever popular Bowman puppets, sure to make you smile awhile!

July 23 at 3:00 and 3:30 PM. This year we welcome animal guests from the Blue Ridge Wildlife Center. Meet some rescued animals that you just might find in your own backyard. Due to the popularity of this program we will have two showings. The first will start at 3:00 pm and the encore presentation will begin at 3:30 pm. Seating for both programs will be limited for the safety of the animal ambassadors.

July 25 at 10:00 AM. Show Time: Bringing Stories to Life through Drama with Willough Sloan. New Market Summer Reading programs are for ages birth to fifth grade.
